The end of year choir concert at the Ain Aar campus
The end of year choir concert at the Ain Aar campus has become a tradition! Like every year the Junior and the Senior choirs join in one huge concert and perform in front of an audience of more than 500 people in the covered basketball court. This year it was a bit different. On June 17th, 2009, both choirs performed on the open air terrace. The Junior Choir conducted by Mrs. Celine Abou Rahhal and accompanied by Mr. Rabi’ Natour on piano performed various pieces composed over 30 years ago such as Mamma Mia by ABBA, Le Temps des Fleurs / Those Were The Days, Nahna Wil Amar Jiran by Rahbani brothers, and Frashy w Zahra by Zaki Nassif. The Senior Choir conducted by Mrs. Arlette Akl and accompanied by Mr. Rabi’ Natour on piano performed in 3 voices a Georgian folk song as well as a Filipino and an English folk song. The concert also featured a Mamma Mia medley performed in unison by the Senior Choir. The concert was a blast! Way to go Ain Aar Junior and Senior Choirs!!!
