2009 – 2010 ECE Workshops Going Strong

November and December were busy months for presenters and teachers attending the Early Childhood Education workshops this year. The workshop series, coordinated by Mrs. Fatmeh Kammoun, offers private and public school teachers workshops that target the Preschool and Lower Elementary levels. The workshops are offered by Doha Berjawi, Fatmeh Kammoun, Lama Khayr, and Lina Mouchantaf.
“It was a very benefiting experience for me; hopefully I will attend more workshops which are motivating,” commented one participant. Fatmeh and the other presenters of this workshop series are working hard to make this participant’s hope come true.
An indication of how popular and important this series of workshops is becoming is the Critical Thinking and Problem Solving workshop session that Doha Berjawi presented, in Arabic, by special request for teachers from the Bachaer School in Damascus, Syria. Ten teachers traveled from Syria to attend Doha’s workshop on November 7.
